My name is Lori. I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have been making block prints for several years and am drawn to the accessibility and affordability of print as art for the people. Most of my work, though not exclusively, is inspired by the natural world and my interactions with it. The vulnerability of too many plants and animals has inspired me to honor (and sometime memorialize) their legacy on this land. The swamp rose (Rosa Palustris) is native to this area and is a beautiful inspiration to me and my work.
Contact me about commission work. I love to create custom block prints for use as logos, book covers, album art, posters, etc. as well as lettering.
